Astounding insights and useless observations about my experience as an American working in London. Enjoy.

First Interview!
Here we go: BBC Recruitment called this morning, and I'm scheduled for a phone interview with them on September 1st! I'm gonna go bust a move now, 'cause I'm so excited.
Hi! I'm Canadian and I am considering doing the Canadian verison of BUNAC to the UK. I'm also interested in working in the media, and you mentioned you had found a certain jobsearch site with "super-relevant positions." Would you be so kind to share that link? I've only just started my search and I'd really love the help! I don't have a degree or anything, and I'm not terribly picky as to what sort of jobs I'll do... even if it's just working in the mail room at the BBC, I would be all right with that! LOL!! Thanks!=D
I'm a recent graduate of Emerson College, where I studied producing for film and television. "Studied" doesn't really explain the half of it, though, since my work was primarily hands-on experience making short films and TV pilots, while interning in the meantime. I loved every second of it.
I've lived in London twice before (once during my Fall 2006 semester and also last summer, 2007). Now that I've graduated, I'm headed back to the UK for six months because it's simply the perfect time to go back. I'm open to suggestions on entirely new things to see and do (try me), since this could be my last and longest stint there yet.

Oh, that was the Guardian Jobs site; the newspaper posts a bunch of new media-related jobs every Monday. It's excellent.
